REKLINE Review, Defamation & Content Abuse Policy

Applies To: All customers, influencers, reviewers, affiliates, and public media users interacting with REKLINE or its content.

🛡️ Our Commitment to Honesty & Legal Use

REKLINE is built on transparency, fairness, and truth. We value genuine feedback — positive or negative — to grow and improve.

We never request dishonest reviews, and we don’t allow fake or misleading testimonials. Incentives for reviews (like vouchers or cashback) compensate you for your time, not your opinion.

However, malicious, fake, coordinated, or defamatory reviews cause reputational and financial harm. This policy explains what is and isn’t acceptable.

⚖️ 1. Legal Framework & Consequences

1.1 Fake Reviews = Illegal (UK Law, April 2025)

  • Posting fake or misleading reviews is illegal
  • Coordinating review attacks or misleading others for gain is prohibited
  • Even selective truth or exaggeration that misleads may constitute fraud

1.2 Civil Liability for Damages

We reserve the right to claim damages for:

  • Lost revenue due to negative conversions
  • Wasted ad spend (Google, Meta)
  • Long-term SEO and reputation harm
  • False reviews leading to returns or chargebacks

1.3 Defamation, Libel, Fraud & Misrepresentation

  • Knowingly false or misleading statements
  • Half-truths or omitted context creating false impressions
  • Accusations without evidence

Assisting or encouraging defamatory content makes you jointly liable.

1.4 Legal Tools We Use

  • Pre-action legal letters
  • Court disclosure to trace IPs/accounts
  • Injunctions, takedowns, and cease & desist notices
  • Compensation claims through small claims or high court

🙋 2. Customer Responsibilities

2.1 Contact Us First

We urge all customers to contact us before posting public reviews. Most issues can be resolved privately and fairly.

2.2 You Are Responsible for What You Post

  • Reviews must be truthful, fair, and based on personal experience
  • Inventing, twisting, or misleading is prohibited
  • Partial truths that mislead others are treated as fraud

❌ If your words cause unfair cancellations or harm, you may be liable.

🎥 3. Influencers, Affiliates & Content Creators

3.1 Media Ownership & Usage Rights

  • All media created in collaboration with REKLINE is our exclusive IP unless agreed otherwise
  • We may reuse, repost, edit, subtitle, or watermark content
  • Unauthorised use in ads or listings is prohibited

3.2 Consent & Compliance

  • Written approval required to act as influencer/affiliate
  • Must follow ASA, CMA, GDPR, and FTC guidelines
  • We may request removal of non-compliant content

⚖️ 4. Enforcement & Escalation

4.1 We Record Everything

  • Call recordings, CRM logs, and email transcripts
  • Website analytics and purchase history
  • Social media and ad data
  • Review and comment metadata

4.2 Right to Remove, Block & Pursue

  • Report content to platforms
  • Issue legal takedowns and cease & desist letters
  • Block future purchases for abusive users
  • Pursue financial damages in court
