Clearance Policy

REKLINE Clearance, Sample & Used Items Policy

Applies To: All purchases of ex-display, used, sample, clearance, repaired, or reduced-price items.

🔒 1. No Returns, Refunds or Exchanges

All sales of:

  • Ex-display or showroom stock
  • Pre-owned, repaired, or refurbished items
  • Sample units or discontinued products
  • Clearance, outlet, or heavily reduced stock

… are strictly final. These items are sold as seen, with no right to return, cancel, or exchange, whether in-store or online.

This overrides any assumed return rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as these do not apply to used, customised or in-person showroom sales.

🛑 2. Warranty & Guarantee Limitations

Most clearance or reduced-price items are excluded from REKLINE’s standard manufacturer warranty.

Exceptions apply only if:

  • A written warranty is issued at the time of sale
  • The item is sold as ‘new’ but discounted for cosmetic reasons

Otherwise, these items are sold without warranty. Issues after purchase are not eligible for repair, replacement, or compensation.

Customers are responsible for inspecting and accepting:

  • Pre-existing marks, scratches, or dents
  • Slight discolouration, wear, or stitching inconsistencies
  • Older electrical/mechanical parts that may not be replaceable

📦 3. Packaging & Collection

Most clearance and sample items are not provided in original packaging. This includes:

  • No branded boxing or foam
  • No manuals or accessories unless stated
  • Potential signs of prior use

Customers purchasing these items must:

  • Accept delivery or collection in repacked/open-box condition
  • Arrange their own suitable transport if collecting

REKLINE accepts no responsibility for damage during customer-arranged collection.

🔍 4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ask questions, inspect, and fully understand the item’s condition
  • Acknowledge there may be visible wear, defects, or prior use
  • Accept that no after-sale support or service is guaranteed

Our team will highlight key flaws where visible — but the final decision rests with you.

⚠️ 5. Misuse of Consumer Law

Customers who misuse return rights, misrepresent facts, or make false claims on clearance items may:

  • Be permanently blocked from future REKLINE purchases
  • Be referred under the Fraud Act 2006 for false representation
  • Be liable for damages from chargeback abuse, threats, or defamation

We report all attempted scams, fake reviews, and refund fraud to platforms and legal authorities.

🚫 6. Non-Eligible Items

The following are non-returnable and excluded from any refund or exchange:

  • Clearance or ex-display stock
  • Sale or discontinued items
  • Items marked as ‘used’, ‘second’, or ‘sample’
  • Customised or bespoke configurations
  • Any item sold below cost price or marked as ‘no warranty’

This includes items purchased via phone, online, in-person, or third-party platforms.

📜 7. Final Sale Acknowledgment

By purchasing any item marked as:

  • Clearance
  • Ex-display
  • Sample
  • Used or Repaired

… you agree that:

  • All sales are final
  • No warranty or right to return exists
  • You had reasonable opportunity to inspect or ask questions
  • You accept full risk and responsibility for the purchase
