Cancellation Policy
REKLINE CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective Date: 31 July 2025
Applies to: All online, phone, finance, and showroom purchases
📖 INTRODUCTION
Cancellation is a courtesy, not a guarantee. It is only available in limited, time-sensitive, and clearly defined cases.
We operate a strict process because:
- Our products are imported, bulky, and high-value
- Cancellations cause loss of slots, space, labour, and stock reallocation
- Many items are booked, prepped, or customised within hours of ordering
That’s why every cancellation comes with a cost, and exclusions apply.
⏱️ CANCELLATION WINDOW — 48 HOURS MAX
- You must cancel within 48 hours of placing your order
- Or at least 2 full working days before delivery
After 48 hours, or if your order has entered processing/delivery status, cancellation will be refused.
❌ NON-CANCELLABLE ITEMS (FINAL SALES)
- Customised items (e.g., bespoke fabric, layout, or colour)
- Pre-orders or made-to-order items
- Mirrors, LED wall art, glass décor, or other fragile items
- Clearance, showroom models, or display items
- Any item already dispatched, delivered, or booked for delivery
- Any in-store or showroom purchases (face-to-face contract exemptions)
💰 CANCELLATION COSTS (ALWAYS APPLY)
- 5% processing fee (covers card/finance costs + admin)
- £100 warehouse fee if cancelled after 48 hours or after preparation begins
- Deductions for any packaging, labour, or transport already used
These are non-negotiable and will be deducted from any eligible refund.
🔄 CANCELLATION VS RETURNS
- Cancellation = Before dispatch, under strict terms
- Return = After receipt (if eligible)
Attempting to misuse cancellation to avoid return fees will result in rejection or escalation under our Returns & Abuse Protection Policy.
🏬 SHOWROOM PURCHASES
- Orders placed in-store are not cancellable and not covered by online consumer law
- Face-to-face sales are considered final
- Please choose carefully — all showroom orders are processed instantly
🛡️ EXTRA PROTECTIONS FOR REKLINE
Cooling-Off Period Exceptions
We comply with UK law, but custom, fragile, made-to-order, or showroom items are legally exempt from cooling-off rules.
Fraud & Abuse Prevention
- We log cancellation patterns and may:
- Suspend accounts
- Reject future orders
- Flag fraudulent activity to payment providers, finance platforms, or authorities
False Cancellations = Breach of Contract
If a customer attempts to cancel a non-cancellable item by force (e.g., via chargeback or bank dispute), it will be treated as fraudulent conduct and pursued accordingly.
